Our Senior Coaching team are all qualified High-Performance Coaches with advanced skills, knowledge and training techniques to help athletes excel. Accredited with Gymnastics Australia, our coaches are committed to developing and mentoring developing coaches in a supportive team environment.

Our gymnastics programs operate from our state-of-the-art Gymnastics Training Centre at the Perth High Performance Centre in Mount Claremont. We are close to public transport and have free on-site parking, and are co-located with the state’s premier sporting facilities and associated health services.
WAG National Levels (6+) Coach
Perth Gymnastics Academy is currently seeking an experienced coach for our Women’s Artistic Gymnastics National Levels 6+ squads.
You’ll be working with small groups of athletes who have been selected for our programs based on their potential to develop into successful senior national level, and international level gymnasts.
Our national levels athletes regularly compete as part of the Western Australian State Team, representing WA at Border Challenge and the National Australian Gymnastics Championships, so the opportunity to travel within Australia and work with coaches from across WA is available.
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of an Advanced Level coaching accrediation together with demonstrated experience in developing successful gymnasts with a focus on techical quality, strength, athlete wellbeing, and the foundational elements required for advanced skills progression.
You’ll be working with an experienced team, including high-performance senior coaches, and a supportive management committee that places emphasis on continued professional development.
We are happy to hear from coaches based interstate and overseas that are keen to live and work in Western Australia, with visa support available for the right candidate.

State Level Coaches - Junior Levels (3 - 6)
Perth Gymnastics Academy has a successful and growing State Level gymnastics program, offering opportunities for our athletes to progress from our club level and gym for all programs to competitive level gymnastics in a fun and supportive environment.
At Perth Gymnastics, we keep our squads small, to allow athletes the best opportunity to progress, and give our coaches dedicated time with their gymnasts. In our junior levels, we focus on strength, technical quality and ensuring all gymnasts have the foundational elements required to progress thier skills to the senior levels.
If you have previous experience coaching State or National Levels 3 - 6 (or equivalent) and a minimum Intermediate with Advanced Mod 1 accreditation, we would love to hear from you. Please express your interest using the form below and our Club Manager will be in touch.
GFA, Club Level, and Beginner Gymnastics Coaches
Gymnastics coaching is a hugely rewarding career, whether you are looking to take your first step on the career ladder or you are seeking a career change.
Working as a gymnastics coach also provides an exceptional opportunity of you are looking to complement an existing career in health and fitness, physiotherapy, dance or other coaching pathways, within a sport focused on building strength, flexibility and the development of highly technical skills and precise body movement.

High Performance Gymnastics Coaching Opportunities
Perth Gymnastics Academy has a proud reputation for developing internationally successful athletes, and we have several nationally categorised and developing athletes attending Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) training camps and competing internationally.
Our high performance team is coaching and developing some of Australia’s most exciting Women’s Artistic Gymnastics talent, and have the opportunity to travel to interstate camps and international compeitions with our athletes.
We are always interested in hearing from coaches with demonstrated experience in coaching Junior and Senior International level athletes, a keen interest in travelling internationally and interstate, and in continuting to develop as a coach and leader.
We are also happy to hear from coaches that are keen to live and work with our team in Western Australia on a temporary basis to advance thier skills and experience.
We are based at the Perth High Performance Centre (Perth HPC), Western Australia’s premier high performance sports venue, with access to exceptional facilities including four swimming pools, athletics stadium, dive pool and dryland facilities, gym, pilates, yoga and strength and conditoning studios, as well as dedicated sports physiotherapy, massage, nutritionists, and a cafe and free parking.
