Child Safety Commitment
Perth Gymnastics Academy (PGA) Child Safety Commitment Statement
At Perth Gymnastics Academy (PGA), your safety is the most important thing to us. We want every child and young person at our club and events to feel safe, welcome and included, no matter who you are, where you come from, or what you can do.
We do not allow anyone to hurt, bully or make children feel unsafe. If something happens that is not okay, we will take it seriously and help straight away. You have the right to feel safe here. You can always speak up if something worries you, makes you uncomfortable, or does not feel right. We will listen and help you. Keeping children safe is one of the most important things we do, and that will never change.
Perth Gymnastics Academy (PGA) is committed to the safety, well-being, participation and empowerment of all children and young people accessing our programs and services including indigenous children, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and children and adults with disability.
Perth Gymnastics Academy (PGA) has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of child abuse. All allegations, disclosures and concerns will be treated seriously and responded to immediately, consistent with our policies and procedures.
We support the rights of all children and young people to feel and be safe, and the right to be confident to raise concerns if they feel unsafe or if their needs are not being met. Child safety and protection remain a priority for us now and into the future.
